Should the U.S. Mind Its Own Business?

I am not for war, but is it sometimes necessary? Ask Americans why we are at war and you will get different answers.

We provide healthcare for other countries when thousands of Americans can't afford insurance. We put our troops in danger for another country's "freedom". We have alliances that make enemies of other countries. We supply and support Israel. All for what? How exactly does this benefit America?

Should we continue doing what we have been doing or should we just stay over here and mind our own business? I am eager to see how other atheists view this.

Do you live there? I think that only the inhabitants of a country have the right to say whether it turned out well or not; all we know is the propaganda that we hear through the news. So much of what we believed is being 'blown out of the water' these days by Wikileaks and others. Let's not be too quick to judge which war was good for the people.

I'm not aware that the world appointed the U. as policemen or watchdogs. It would be nice to bring our guys home & let them resolve their own problems. We'll send G.w.Bush over . He will do the job - singlehandedly.
