In my opinion, a person should be able to charge for services that they can give away if they want. Who are they hurting? Two or more consenting adults make an arrangement that is between themselves.
Why is it that women and men for that matter, are still being controlled by governments in the bedroom? Is the bible or religion running our societies?
Who or what decided on things that are moral or immoral?
Just because a person doesn't want to do something themselves, I for one, doesn't give them the right to "Preach" to others what to do..
If prostitution is legalized, it'd be more regulated and safe. prostitution is the oldest job in history, it'll be there no matter what. so either we let it go to the black market where it's dangerous and risky, or we legalize it, regulate it, and make it safe.
I think prostitution should be legal but regulated .
I've known females that have worked as strippers part time for a little extra cash before moving on to another field and some that have gone down a spiral doing more for money. I'd imagine there are females that could do that while still maintaining goals but I'd feel sorry for the ones that do it because they feel other goals are unattainable. It already exist illegally so their lifestyles would be better because they would be more public upon legalization I guess.
and your point is?...
We're not lab rats?.. 98% the same DNA
Women are human beings, take off your clothes and your just like any other animal..naked.
BTW this discussion is about men too... Women are not the only prostitutes.
oh!! Your not taking issue about women being prostitutes, if they want?
Your taking issue about being called female? LOL
I stand corrected..
A woman ( /wʊmɪn/ (woman); pl: women ( /wʊmɛn/)) is a female human. The term woman is usually reserved for an adult, with the term girl being the usual term for a female child or adolescent. However, the term woman is also sometimes used to identify a female human, regardless of age, as in phrases such as "Women's rights".
Some may not agree....
It's a grammar thing.. Why didn't you say so...
You got me there... grammar has never been my suit.
I prefer a dress..
Come on... stick to the issue.. or not...
Thank you! I cringe when I hear men, usually young men, refer to women as females. I thought it was just the Jerry Springer show sort of men. I've never heard it used in a sentence that reveals any respect for women. It seems to be one step above "Ho". Grammar isimportant. It is the structure of language. It helps us understand one another. Just look at how much discomfort many of us felt when reading that one word!
"Ho", and all the other synonyms for "prostitute" convince me that whether legal or illegal, those who sell sexual favors are almost universally scorned. Many women in this field of work would keep it a secret, regardless of its legality. If it were legal, how many would "register". A friend of mine did this "on the side" for years, and I never knew.
Good morning and greetings to Ms. Scarlett and Ms. Dogly,
I'm offically and somewhat publically apoligizing for my arguementive behavior yesterday..
I now realize that if that term bothers you, I should respect that..
May peace be with you.... :)
Tell that to the US Navy. Female and male berthings on ships and reference to female service members as "females" is common among males (I don't know if the inverse is true). If a male walks into a female berthing, he must say "Male on deck." and vice versa. It's not meant to be derogatory and we certainly don't walk around calling people males or females.
Just a little useless information for those of you who will never have military experience.
Yes, but the navy is a bad example...
Remember the porn videos they made? Women were offended ... Men were in it too...I didn't hear about them bi-tching.. lol
Anyway.they said it was the grammar that offended them
I'm sorry you took issue with being called a "female"
I assure you my lack of fines in communication is in no way an underhanded attempt at degrading any sex.
