Should dangerous drugs be legalized? What about marijuana..?

Greetings,

Presenting a new scale of drug harm that rates the damage to users themselves and to wider society, the scientists rated alcohol the most harmful overall and almost three times as harmful as cocaine or tobacco.

If the government wants to protect us from ourselves....

Than why are alcohol and cigarettes legal?

All drugs should be legalized, as should discrimination against people based on using them. If I don't want to hire a heroin addict, tobacco smoker, cokehead, or marijuana user, or if I only want to rent my apartments to people who sniff glue, the government should stay out of the way.

When will the government realize the quick and easy way to eliminate the plague of street gangs? Take their exclusive hold on the product away and they'll have to think of something else to make money on...or maybe they'll just go and get a job like the rest of us clowns.
