Share your top tips here when discussing/debating theists.
I am going to be with some crazy fundy family this weekend, and I would like to plant some nice nugget info dump for them to digest on.
Help a girl out.

Brush on December 30, 2010 at 3:07pm By the way, the advice that I offered on page 1 that destroys all Christian argument from all sects and faiths and generally makes their minds go to jello, also works on Muslims as Islam and the works of the Koran are predicated on Judeo-Christianity and the same nonsense!
If you can get them to listen, you will utterly shatter their faith. If they remain Christian, they either did not listen, or did not get it. Sometimes it takes time, but it works a majority of the time. Happy Holidays!
Permalink Reply by M on December 30, 2010 at 5:54pm When I was taking an Anatomy and Physiology class, my lab partner was slowly learning about my godlessness (it tends to leak from my pores, apparently). She told me one day that everything in nature was so perfect, how could there not be a god? I laughed and said, "But nothing in nature is perfect! It's full of mistakes and mutations!" She looked a little stunned and never said a word about it again. I don't know why something so simple stands out for me, but it does.
Sorry if this has nothing to do with what you were looking for, but I think sometimes it's the most simple truths that really floor them.
Permalink Reply by Mo Trauen on January 1, 2011 at 6:10pm Hi Meme,
When you get a minute, let us know how it worked out. Did you have occasion to use any "bon mots" from here or elsewhere? Did the theists come up with any new packaging for their tired old arguments?
I hope all went well and that you didn't end up pulling out any clumps of hair--from your head or someone else's.
