Care to back that claim up with some evidence?

I never met a woman, especially a feminist, who thought that it was sexist for a man to imagine a woman, with or without 'props', when he masturbates.  It seems you deliberately obscure what does bother women.  It is the exploitative depictions of the debasement of women, the kind of pictures that show women being humiliated, used as nothing but things.  These depictions are of real live women being harmed, not healthy, happy, lusty women having fun. No-one minds guys thinking of or looking at pictures of lusty, sexy, naked women.

Your question itself implies several false assumptions:

1.) That masturbation is evil, wrong, shameful, or a "weak link".  It is none of those.  It is natural, healthy, fun, and done by an amazingly large percentage of people.

2.) That fantasizing about women during masturbation, or viewing images of nude women degrades them as a group by converting them into sex objects.  Incorrect.  The thing that DOES degrade women is the belief that a woman's most important role in your life is to satisfy your sexual needs.  If you have respect for each individual woman in your life, and for women in general, then you don't hold that belief.  Think about it this way: If a woman said to you "I thought of you last night while I touched myself", would you feel offended, or objectified?  Probably not.  However, if she said to you, "The only thing a man is good for is his genitals.  If he doesn't have a large penis and use it well, then he's worthless."  Now, you might have a different feeling.

Any ten women will have ten different opinions on sexual politics, gender differences, social equality, pornography, and what constitutes degrading objectification of women as a group.  However, most women I have talked to do NOT feel that pornography itself is evil, degrading, morally wrong (unless it depicts disrespectful or violent treatment of women).  They DO believe that some MEN have poorly formed opinions of women, and those men tend to be sexist bigots, assholes, and should be avoided at all costs.  Not all men are as enlightened as they should be when it comes to respecting others.

So, masturbate to your heart's (and body's) content.  Do NOT feel the slightest bit of guilt over it.  Enjoy it.  Experiment with it.  (Switch hands!)  Read some books on it. (...that have a POSITIVE tone!).  I can guarantee you, there is no valid moral, ethical, or religious argument that holds any water preventing you from doing so.

yes it is, it is looking at women like they are just objects is degrading  and i would not masturbate to any type of animal. but what about the gay porn? would a guy looking at another guy degrading to the man in the picture? and i would like to know what women think about this topic too.

No, John Jon, it isn't looking at women's bodies that is disrespectful.  Have you ever seen any pornography that shows, not just pleasure, but aggressive humiliation?  You must make a comparison to understand the difference.  Men in pictures can be just fine, or can also show abusive, humiliating stuff.  Can a woman on here express the difference more clearly than I have, please?  John Jon is a young fellow, and his questions are honest requests for information.

You can masturbate to a woman and still respect them as a human being. I do not see what the problem is if I were a woman I would be very flattered, and I understand that some women do not want that kind of attention but in the end men will be men. We can't help it. Plus most women look at men the same way but they are better at hiding it
