Someone said that to me once when they noticed I was reading Misquoting Jesus I told them that I was also reading Aquinas' Summa Theologica and Martin Luther's An Open Letter on Translating not to mention rereading the Bible for the umteenth time. People make stupid assumptions sometimes.
