I had a psychology professor who told us that there was an experiment where people on the other side of the world were told to pray for the plant on one side of a terrarium where they were told not to pray for the one on the other side. Surprise, surprise the plant they prayed for flourished. Has anyone heard of this or can debunk it?
OK, I am a Canadian and I studied at the Art Institute in Miami... I let it go at the time but was kind of annoyed. He was into some sort of shamanic / native american spirituality. He even in one class got us to "find our spirit animal". I actually pretended along with that. Fuck.. I wanted to pass the class!!! He already hated me enough :)
I feel like asking him about it tho. I might get back to you on that. It would help to have more info tho. I can't find any online to see what i'm debunking. I'm imagining he is still teaching this and many people are using it to fuel the dogma they born into.
