OOOOH! HOLD THE PHONE Brangalina - you said "Nothing can be created from nothing." But your god created the universe from NOTHING?!!!!

i didnt know that "Nothing can be created from nothing." is equal to " god created the universe from NOTHING?!!!! ".  Isnt there a " little " difference ?

The problem that creationists get into when they say something can't be created from nothing is that god created  the universe from nothing. Even if you grant this, then that same logic will let their magic man create a rock that even a magic man like god can't pick up. That doesn't make sense for a being to create things outside its power.

Just to stop that something from nothing crap. You can apply science to the big bang without observing the universe prior to birth of ours. We still haven't observed the full orbit completion of Pluto but with good maths and physics we can work out when its completion will happen.

You can't get something from nothing arguement froma creationist is flaud in everyway.

Angelo.. .we're all Atheists here (most of us anyway) and have come to the conclusion that god equals nothing. Which is why the onus is on the believer (you) to convince the non-believer (us) that god is equal to something, So, until time we will continue stand by our conclusion..

How about provide evidence then, our universe could have been caused by nothing ? or provide evidence, it exists forever  in some form or the other ?

and you, angelo have yet to prove your side that the universe was formed by some mythological creature dreamed up in the stone-age to explain rustling winds and sunrises and sunsets intended to strike fear and trembling into the hearts of people and continues to do so based on NOTHING but a book that has been shown to be WRONG on so much of what is written in it that there is little left to say other than your god is no different than zeus, apollo, ra, odin, thor or athena or the myriad of other deities created by men who had NO understanding of the world around them let alone a universe as vast as ours.

you refuse to believe in proof or evidence yet continue to ask for some from us. you have acknowledged that you can't prove your god exists, yet you expect US to prove beyond any doubt he doesn't!!

i think you are missing a few steps in your logic there sir!
