There is such a dearth of transitional forms that every claim based on fragmentary information is greeted with great fanfare as evidence for evolution. Yet Stephen Jay Gould confesses:

“The extreme rarity of transitional forms in the fossil record persists as the trade secret of paleontology. The evolutionary trees that adorn our textbooks have data only at the tips and nodes of their branches; the rest is inference, however reasonable, not the evidence of fossils.”14

According to James Valentine and Douglas Erwin: “The sections of Cambrian rocks that we do have (and we have many) are essentially as complete as sections of equivalent time duration from similar depositional environments, [yet] transitional alliances are unknown or unconfirmed” for any of the phyla or classes.15

Paleontologist Steven M. Stanley states, “Despite the detailed study of the Pleistocene mammals of Europe, not a single valid example is known of phyletic (gradual) transition from one genus to another.”

The problem people who don't accept evolution is that they expect an immediate big change within a generation or two. That just doesn't happen. So you will never find a true transitional form. It'll be a little change here, a little change there. Something you will only notice when you look at the grand scheme of things. Such as looking at 10-25 generations..

It's kind of like a flip book that's fallen apart that we're trying to put back together. Evolutionists will take a page put it in place and see how it fits into the greater scheme.. does it work when the pages are flipped?. It kinda does, but not as well as it could. Ok, then another page we haven't come across must fit in there. They keep looking for a better fit, adjusting the other pages as they go to get a better picture. They'll even hold onto a page which doesn't seem to fit at first with the expectation of finding where fits later..  

 Unlike Creationists, who'll just discard pages as they desire when it doesn't fit their notion of how things are 'supposed' to fit..

In the end Evolutionists have a flip-book which, sure it has gaps in it here. but it still shows just how mankind got to be where he is today... Creationists have a flip book which starts in the middle then jumps and skips around but doesn't truly tell the full story though they'd like to think it does..

All breeds of dogs, NavelLint, have been evolved - by Man, not god - from wolves over the past 100,000 years, give or take a week last Tuesday. And that's only Man-made - nature has evolved every living thing there is.

But there no point discussing a topic like that, that's so beyond your scope of reasoning. I'm still waiting for you to take my challenge, live up to your premise that you first postulated on the board, and show me why strong atheism on your part should prove that most probably the great Primeval Octopus does not exist. Either you are a believer in His holy existence, or you are an atheist where He is concerned. Prove your case - we're waiting --

If you can show me a book he inspired like the bible, we talk.

oh brother!!

can you prove YOUR book is inspired by something other than beer? you can not prove that your book, or any other holy text... oh wait, you don't believe any of them other than yours is truly inspired...

we await any proof you may have.. oh wait, you don't have any proof, nor do you accept any proof of your god, you just have faith he is there.. do you see anything wrong with your 'logical' acceptance of your god yet?

did he not say in Isaiah 1:18 - Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

really, Angelo, that is actually in your bible! go find it, it's in the Old Testament section near the middle. your god claims to accept reason as a way to find him, yet you offer us none! way to represent your god!

What's next? Teaching alchemy alongside chemistry? Astrology in astronomy class? Miasma next to germ theory? Or phlogiston theory together with combustion?
