Actually SW, yes, he does, at least did, need a penis - first of all, there were all of those lonely hours out there in the uncreated universe, before he manufactured pet people to entertain him - hey, he had to do something, right? Where do YOU think the Milky Way came from?!

But more recently, there was his wife, Asherah, with whom he lived in Canaan, but once the Hebrews adopted him and he followed them home, they made him leave his wife behind and that made him VERY grouchy!

Even more than believing your MagicMan doesn't exist, I'm finding it hard to believe that anyone who thinks as you do, does! The very thought of all the brain synapses that sit idle in your head absolutely flabbergasts me, and that's a term I've NEVER used before!

Actually Rob (sorry, no reply buttons again), I posted a URL a day or so ago (and I'm too tired to hunt for it tonight) about a town in North or South Carolina that was having a problem because they were flying a Christian flag above a Veterans' Memorial.

Late in the video, the guy doing the documentary did a really cool thing - he did the whole flip-book thing you're talking about. He apparently had access to some fossils, and filmed a number of them in the exact same position, dissolving one into the other, and showed how the three-toed proto-horse gradually lost two of those toes, while a third evolved into a hoof. It was like being there!

It's a 2-hour documentary, but it's really good to watch those people squirm when asked questions they couldn't answer, but not the point - point is, the scene I mention is in the last third of the video.

I'll find it for you sometime tomorrow afternoon and send you a message with the URL

Going to sleep now, while I can still find the bed. Last time I slept on the floor, I woke up on the wrong side.
