Normally, I give online petitions the boot either because they are never taken seriously, or because they are written by... Well, people who are on the internet. 

BUT,

This one may be different. 
It's goals are clearly stated and specific. 

Also, if it gets 100,000 signatures in the span of 30 days, it will actually be reviewed by people in The White House, and they issue an "official response". 

So, I'd like to see this petition get off the ground. Not just to redact unjust policy, but I think it may be a chance to see a different (potentially very effective) system of policy making.
