Pascal's New Wagers
If you're familiar with Pascal's ingenious wager, then you'll be thrilled to hear about his latest installments. Previously only the topic of religion was covered, now Pascal will be getting around to solving problems from every aspect of life.
Every minute of your life a meteor may, or may not, strike you in the head killing you instantly. However if you wear a hard hat at all times you may be able to survive the constant bombardment of theoretical meteors. For if you aren't struck with a meteor, and you weren't wearing a hard hat, you've lost nothing. If you are struck, and aren't wearing a hard hat then you've lost everything. However if you are wearing a hard hat and aren't hit, you've lost nothing, but a bit of open air for your head, and if you're wearing the hat and are hit, you may be able to save everything. Well, if the hard hat is good enough.

That's why I always wear a bullet-proof biohazard suit and regularly praise Allah, Yahweh, Thor, Odin, Zeus, Ares, Ra, Satan and any other vengeful deity I can remember. Not buddha though. Buddha doesn't give a shit.
