Well, well as I have said before: I used to have a fine line to open the discourse on a claim I had that we humans all have the same traits but just to varying degrees. That line was "The Pope is perverted." Then I would explain he was just a little private thought perverted where a "Charles Manson" was overboard perverted.

With the reality that the church is more perverted than mosty other institutions, I need a new line.

In reading an article in the NY Times a couple of weeks ago about whoever this new idiot mega church pastor is that has the allegations by boys (3 or 4 boys), I found this out about the pastor.

He preaches that the faithful will make money because God rewards faith with money. The killer for me was he said "and you know Jesus Christ measured in wealth of the times 'was not a poor man.'"

I turned to my wife and said well, no much like Ted Turner Jesus was.
