North Carolina to bar elected official due to his beliefs

I was amazed to read this, as I didn't realize that my state still had laws like this. I am glad that they are deciding to fight this, but requiring a majority vote here to change the law, will be a very tough fight.

Yeah, there are a few states left that have this in their constitution, despite the Supreme Court having declared such laws unconstitutional decades ago.
I would happily move to every state with it still on the books...run for office and then challenge it in court.
Now if I just had money to survive on while doing so.........
