All the sites I've come across are either far too basic, or way too in-depth. I need something in between, to help me get to the next level of understanding. There's a physics forum that I'm dying to jump into, but pretty much everything talked about there is waaaaay over my head. Does anyone have any sites/books/whatever?

Sean Carroll's blog, Cosmic Variance. If you have some calculus under your belt, then I'd recommend the text University Physics. It's only a lower division text, so it's nowhere near being advanced as upper division or graduate texts in the math, but it has a lot of material and goes over the concepts very well.
