thought i'd send you this little fable from nietzsche as a new year's greeting...
there once was a star on which clever animals invented knowledge. that was the haughtiest and most mendacious minute of all history. but only a minute. after a few breaths, the star grew cold, and the clever animals had to die. (so let's enjoy THIS moment. a happy new year to all!
