I'm looking for a place to buy some cheap books for school on the New Atheism Movement. It's a pretty extensive list that covers Dawkins, Hitchens, Hawking, Harris, Berlinski, etc. Does anyone know of any place I'd find these books at a reasonable price fairly. There are 11 different books so if I wanted to get them used from Amazon, I'd have to pay shipping on each. I'd rather not buy them new. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a website or store.

The only sites I can think of that will sell you cheap used books are also going to charge you shipping on each book. But I may be able to help another way. I sent you a PM.

I don't know where you live, but you could try used book stores.  There's one in Seattle called Half Price Books (not sure if they are local or a national chain), and they have pretty decent prices.  There is also half.com if you want to shop online.  I've never bought anything there, but I've heard they are decent.

I will say in comparison to my campus bookstore, even with S&H its still cheaper to get them from Amazon. It's not uncommon for one of my books to go for $100. I can find the same book on Amazon for $70-$80 then add in shipping- say $6..so $76-$86,

A Cristyn mentioned there is Half-priced books. They're a national chain (we have them here in MN), but not sure if they do text books.

Thank you two, I'll check out Half-Price! Nelson I'll definitely confer with you, hopefully a way can be found.
