He came into my life on a cold December night about one year ago. He meowed I went out on the front porch. It was dark so I couldn't tell He? She? or It? So I called him HeSheIt (Shit for short.) when I introduced him to my neighbor, the neighbor said "ComHere Little Shit". From that point on he was known as Lil'Shit.
We had been sharing the house with me paying all the bills. Over the last several months we had become Best Buds.
He had not been home for a couple of nights and yesterday the same neighbor asked me if that was my Cat laying out in the middle of the county highway.
Yes Lil'Shit met his end in the middle of FF Highway Greene County Missouri.
I don't like how I feel, as the tears stream down my face as I type this.
I have never been a Cat Person, but over the last year I have become Best Friends with a four-legged Son-of-a-Bitch named Lil'Shit. This last year has been one of the happiest of my 64 years.
He was just a fucking Cat but He was my friend, companion, and Brother.
