It seems to me that these guys are scrambling right now to keep up. They are in their death throes and they know it. What a waste, they twist everything, make a single quote seem like the biggest piece of evidence and clearly don't understand the basic criteria of science.

It may take another hundred or so years , but I am sure that in the near future religion and it's ilk will have a smaller part to play in everyone's lives. Religion will always be there, but the power that it once had will be no more. They will not be able to tell you what to do. All of us will note have to follow their dogma that has been turned into law. Science will win out in the end. Science will save us when all of the prayers in the world against aliens, global climate change, asteroids, roving dark matter, water crisis, food crises, zombies and disease will not.
I think they are in their death throes and that is why they are fighting so hard right now to discredit everyone else. The death throes may last for centuries, but it's there.
