Is the Islamic religion destructive?
Personally I feel that it is. It is just as destructive as early Christianity was as it began to spread. I feel Christianity has become boring to most of the religious types. The conflict that lies within Islam draws a lot of attention and interest from people whom are lost (as I call them). Religion as a whole has destroyed more than it has ever helped. Religion itself is not violent but it's followers usually take it the a violent level. The people committing these acts of violence make me nauseous. The only way to ever bring an end to religion is education. So why do believers feel that suffering will ever lead them to "god"?

Take it from an exMuslim still living in a muslim country, it is very destructive and violent . The fact that their destruction and violence is packed by " holy " scripture makes it even worse. Because they can justify their violent behaviour from a verse in the Quran or the words of their prophet ( a.k.a " Sunnah " ) that never made it in Quran and they are as holy and sacred to them as the words in Quran. And trust me when I say it's not about " Some people just understand them wrong " that's totally not true and all said by the people that are trying to market Islam. The messages of hate , violence , sexism, murder and discrimination are very clear to anyone with half a brain and the understanding of Arabic. Islam is by far the absolute most evil religion of all not just Abrahamic religions.
