On Saturday, I frequented Twitter, as I usually do, to get away from the stresses of college life. Lizz Robbins (@Lizzs_Lockeroom) stated that
Atheism is a disease of the soul before it becomes an error of understanding.5:14 PM Mar 6thvia mobile web After that display of bigotry and usual self-righteousness, she said No hate here, I have God in my heart, it's all love..RT @oakaveli89Disease?!? thx 4 the hatred!! I needed it5:21 PM Mar 6thvia mobile web After that, A Jeebus-Loving douche said Chainificent
@Lizzs_Lockeroom @Oakaveli89 Atheism is nothing more than extreme self loathing disguised as intellectualism8:33 PM Mar 6thvia web The reason why I posted this is because I was on the fence about believeing religion was too dangerous for us to live with. I AM NOW 100% ANTI-THEIST. This mindstate is dangerous and can lead to anti-atheist violence. So, with this as a sample of believes held by a portion of our society, can we co-exist or is this country too small for the both of us?
Religion and small mindedness are the disease, critical thinking and reason are the inoculation and the cure. This vaccine is known as Atheism and there is no doubt in my mind it will eventually wipe out ignorance just like small pox is no longer a real concern for 99% of the world.
