There are international standards of weights and measures, even for the passage of time.

The gold standard for a moral, eternally abiding life now sits and the right hand of his Father.

Diametrically opposed is the man of Sin, our natural proclivity and the spirit working in our minds and members. We sin as naturally and freely as water cascading down a water fall.

Our mouths, swear, our minds envy, covet and indulge in vilest most despicable imaginings.

We are bitter, abusive, hateful,  coldhearted, murders, whisperers, callous, without natural affection, haughty, high minded, quick to anger, insufferable lot. Deserving all of the natural catastrophes that beset us, including AIDS, tsunamis, hurricanes and tornadoes. As AIDS spreads rapidly around the earth it becomes evident that everybody is sleeping with everyone across the whole planet. A sure marker of the moral turpitude that besets the earth.

But a standard was born. Eat his flesh, drink his blood and let him abode in your mind and members that you may abide forever.

It would be, if "faith" and "critical thinking" meant the same thing to Michael as it does to the rest of us, or the OED for that matter, but he's demonstrated that it doesn't. I think he uses random words for concepts in his head and tries to argue from there. He doesn't understand why everyone is telling him he's wrong and an idiot, since his arguments make perfect sense -to him, from his peculiar vantage point and his particular definitions.
Artor Michael has said that his faith is absurd so I think he may have coherent moments, but has a problem string them together.
Exactly. Why is anyone even humoring this man/woman/whatever? He/She is trying to get a rise out of people, it's plainly obvious. There's no stated reason for the post, just a big rant.

A world view is assumed to be true and therefore easily defendable when confronted with the  absurd. Fools are humored to teach them a listen or their notions are so silly, they can be easily convinced by stating the obvious, that is taken for granted and cherished.

What? What does that statement mean? Are you responding to Chudi's statement or are you explaining the original point of your first post?
Responding to Chudi. (and listen should be lesson)
I think the more appropriate word would be a fool. Then you will conform to the prophesied judgement by this world concerning His salvation. Outside of that you are just being insulting and therefore included in the litany of human flaws mention at the beginning of this thread. Unwarranted malice and statement of defamation to someone you don't even know. Being baptist into his living Name is the answer. Put on the man from Heaven.
Defense mechanism, I assume.
I prefer the moral turpitude of Atheists as it is of a higher standard than those who need to eat flesh or drink some blood.
Cannibalism; endorsed by Christians the world over!

I love the "Deserving all of the natural catastrophes that beset us..." portion the most. After all, nothing says Love like creating life and then cramming all the pain, agony and terror into it that you possibly can. I guess cowering, fearful worshipers are more fun.

You religion is sick at the very heart of its teachings. Nothing can change that.

"Cannibalism; endorsed by Christians the world over!...

You religion is sick at the very heart of its teachings. Nothing can change that."

How powerful words are when taken out of context. Fortunately most Atheist are ex-Christians and know that these words are in a spiritual context.
