There are international standards of weights and measures, even for the passage of time.
The gold standard for a moral, eternally abiding life now sits and the right hand of his Father.
Diametrically opposed is the man of Sin, our natural proclivity and the spirit working in our minds and members. We sin as naturally and freely as water cascading down a water fall.
Our mouths, swear, our minds envy, covet and indulge in vilest most despicable imaginings.
We are bitter, abusive, hateful, coldhearted, murders, whisperers, callous, without natural affection, haughty, high minded, quick to anger, insufferable lot. Deserving all of the natural catastrophes that beset us, including AIDS, tsunamis, hurricanes and tornadoes. As AIDS spreads rapidly around the earth it becomes evident that everybody is sleeping with everyone across the whole planet. A sure marker of the moral turpitude that besets the earth.
But a standard was born. Eat his flesh, drink his blood and let him abode in your mind and members that you may abide forever.

If you swear more than you want to, and want to punch somebody's lights out at the least provocation, this might be a tell tale sign that it is in your blood and not necessarily in your genes.
You may have inherited a spiritual legacy worth getting rid of. The apostles were different men when the got rid of there spiritual legacies and took on Christ.

Permalink Reply by TDM on June 20, 2011 at 9:06pm Can we just let this thread die..? He's a nutter or a troll or both. A goodly portion of this board already rejects worshipping nutty gods, believing in the supernatural, and betting our lives on the off-chance that there's a payout of "eternity" at the end.
Any God/Goddess/Pantheon of Gods/Divine Conciousness etc. who would create the world for humans, and then create humans with flaws meant to cause them to fail the odd moral standards he gives to one tiny group of people (which will spread and change in various forms till they resemble no part of the original religion or people) whom he will then punish for all eternity for being as weak and terrified as he/she/it/they made them doesn't deserve worship or love by any stretch of the imagination!

Permalink Reply by Akshay Bist on June 20, 2011 at 11:22pm Got any documentation or evidence of the event being called supernatural or divine by scientists? Its an interference pattern.
Go read up on interference, diffraction, Young's double slit experiment & Young's single slit experiment. You'll see that its science, not supernatural.
Science FTW!

Permalink Reply by Akshay Bist on June 20, 2011 at 11:42pm If it was the same phenomena at the same place, don't think there is any need to watch it. Its the same thing - interference.
Unless you can dig out any CREDIBLE scientific analysis that says its something supernatural, then there is no point in discussing this anymore.

Permalink Reply by Akshay Bist on June 20, 2011 at 11:58pm Meh, smart money is still on interference.
Find a credible report(no christian rags please) that says no scientific explanation could be given, and then this topic can be further discussed.
