I wonder, would christianity be as prevalent in the United States if church leaders and Pastors had a maximum amount of money they could be paid.  I think that a church should do what they promise and help people around the world with the money they receive.  Since they don't pay taxes they should have to use their donation money to first pay their pastors and church leaders up to the maximum amount allowed by the state then all the other money has to be charitable donations.  If people could not profit from the church I think christianity wouldn't be nearly as popular as it is.

I know this would be interference of church and state, but if they don't pay taxes then they should have to do the above.
