I wasn't aware we spend anything. At least I don't. I subscribe to forums like this and tell people I am an Atheist if the subject crops up in conversation which doesn't cost anything. And do we try and convert? I explain to people why I am an Atheist but never feel I am trying to convert anyone, unlike theists. I have elderly friends in their 80s who believe and I don't feel it's my place to disillusion them now, in the winter of their lives, that there is no god after all.

So I throw the original question back to the forum. What exactly can we spend money on to support the cause?

Yep,Yep. I spend nothing exept some of my time. Mostly what I do, I do for me not the cause. If people ask I dont mind talking but I get involved to learn for myself. I'm not the brightest bulb so I try to figure it out. I would be more than glad to join an atheist community center and donate time and some money to it but alas there is no such place here. If one popped up I'd expect to see the torches by moonlight on the first night around here.
