Alphametric, he didn't claim it was from the Catechism, he said it was from a discussion on the Catholic Church. The source material also did not claim that it was from the Catechism, actually citing its references. (Dominus Iesus by then-Cardinal Ratzinger, and ratified by Pope John Paul II, and later confirmed by Pope Benedict in 2007)

Finally somebody is saying what I have been trying to say all the time!
Do not lie about te church. Do not post things and say they are part of the catechism if they are not. Do not make yourself look like a fool.
this discussion is not leading anywhere anymore, I just want to make sure all of you did not get anything wrong:

The Catholic chruch does not teach that Atheist or Non-Believers can not come to heaven. the curch does not say that an atheist will automatically go to hell (even if he does nor confess his sins)

There is nothing more to say about that.

We are not lyin' as to what the church has said & documented. All this is in the vault in the Vatican. Where are we lyin' when we clearly link you to the Vatican.... unless the http://www.vatican.va/ is not the official site of the Catholic Church. If it is not then I apologize deeply.

Maybe the christian church where you're from is different from where most of the posters here are from, but here, in general, christians constantly throw themselves around public areas with big signs listing reasons why everyone who doesn't believe what they believe are going to hell. Literally that's what they say, that's not even an interpretation of what they are saying.

It doesn't matter what the catholic church OFFICIALLY teaches, it matters how the people interpret it and integrate it into OUR lives, which is why atheists get so defensive, because people that claim to be of some religion use that religion to harm or insult other people.

e. You have still not decided to tell if it is true that the moon revolves around the earth. You should be able to say True or False to the original statements.You have not understood my answer to that point. If I said that this was true - would my statement be wrong in a couple of hundred years when we have a new better system?
All I am saying is that this system of the moon revolving around the earth is the system that fits best into our obervations of today's science. So I am not saying it is wrong.

That's the beauty to science, it evolves as we do with our understandin'. I will never claim absolute truth just because of this reason. But I can still look at a chimpanzee & say to myself, "I can see that".

It is - you still couldn't tell me what true or false is. the only thing you did was post a dictionary entry.

I have not seen any personal claims so far. Post them.
