Permalink Reply by Nelson on May 3, 2011 at 10:57pm why not outreach? create a club whose goal it is to go to different public places and set up a table with a sign on it (with permission of course) that urges people to come ask questions of nonbelievers.
but, really, have a look around this community and you can't help but see that just because we're all atheists doesn't mean we agree on everything such that if you started a discussion group it would be "oh yeah, i agree, let's move on."
and even if you started an atheist group that was philosophically-minded, though there would certainly be some overlap, you would be looking at philosophical topics through the lens of naturalism.
