Hello, first post (bar my post on the introductions sub section thing-y-ma-jig) so be nice :P
I don't know if you've all heard this already or not, but as in the Jurassic park films, a mosquito, complete with 'fresh' (40 or so million year old) blood in it's gut. Now, as any dinosaur/fossil geeks may realise, 40 million years is well after the mysterious mass extinction ("Great flood" a chorus of creationists cry in the distance) of dinosaurs, which is sad because dinosaurs>all other ancient species.
But I digress, though this specific find is unlikely to spawn an epic tale in the vein of a real life Jurassic park, it could potentially mean that in the future, if we find more fossils, that could become a real thing.
Cool or what?
