She's only afraid of death because of religion. Death is a part of life. The only sure part of life, and it makes every second of this life worthwhile!

I love my life and I don't want to not exist, but I don't think that makeing crap up it going to solve anything. I think living life is beter then wishing it would end so you can have a better one latter. Make the best out of the life you have and not one you might get later.

This is a quote in The Atheists Bible, pg.174, that is why I enjoyed this book so much.
I was talking to a religious friend of mine saying that I hated going in to Harrods in London because of the large display of food, at expensive prices because of the starving children of the World, her reply was 'Oh the children must have been wicked in a previous life'.
No more to be said.

I don't want to be dressed up when I decompose and give the earth nutrients. What is the point? For your surviving family members I guess. Seems very materialistic actually. Like, the only thing you care about even the day you are buried is looking good.

This isn't really related to the actual conversation but I thought it was an interesting point. lol

I agree on all points. When Im gone, Im gone. I suppose it is left to the immediate family what happens to you, but I suppose I could not care less as I will not be there. It is just that whilst you are alive that you can say what will happen when you die, as I feel all that I have done will be wasted and if I have an atheist burial this may help atheists left to see someone proud to be an Atheist, and then perhaps it will be the end of religious burials.

I know if I ask for no funeral this will be disregarded. I would like to be buried in the ground next to my dog.
