I guess I'll start off here with a brief introduction.  I'm Alex, I'm 23,  and I currently live in Atlanta, GA.  I've lived in the south my entire life and grew up in a very religious area with a very religious family.  My road to atheism started as a middle school kid with questions no one could answer adequately and ended when I realized I was only kidding myself by pretending to believe in fairy tales. 

Moving away from religion, here's a little personal info about me.  I studied math and economics in college and continue to pursue interests in number theory, chaos theory, and econometrics.  I love the outdoors and I get out to hike, mountain bike, and camp whenever I can, but I am not a fan of the cold.

Well, that's the basics, but I'm always open to questions and will discuss pretty much any aspect of my life/philosophy with anyone who's interested.  I look forward to getting to know everyone and taking part in the discussions.
