Ok, maybe I'm a Johnny-come-lately, but I've just now discovered this.
Atheists are leaving generous tips at restaurants, and then a note at the end of the receipt stating something like, "I don't believe in God, I believe in your good service" or "I'm an Atheist, so I'm a good tipper. Thanks for the great service!"
Often the person will take a picture of the receipt and post it on Facebook. I promise you, this is a great tool in showing that Christianity is a farce, and Atheists are really the ones who are concerned with the well-being of humankind.
A few weeks ago my wife and I went to a restaurant and paid with a gift card that I received as a Christmas gift. I told the waiter to make sure the complete charge went through, and he said it did. After I got home I checked online and saw that the tip couldn't have gone through. There wasn't enough money on that gift card.
The next week we went back to the same restaurant, and I asked for the same waiter. I'm pretty sure he recognized us. At the end of the meal I triple-tipped him and explained that I did so because I was an Atheist. I had never done anything like this before, and it felt so good! I think I probably had an impact on this young man's life. I hope so.
I've known people that had to wait tables to earn enough money to pay their bills. They've all complained that they hate the Sunday after church crowd because they are so cheap. I see this as an excellent opportunity to show the wait staff who really cares about their well being.
