If a lamb wanders from the flock and becomes lost, would a responsible shepherd simply go home in order to test the lamb's ability to find its way back?
If a child is lost in the woods, should a responsible parent simply go home, in order to test the child's love and commitment to them?
Why does an omnipotent, omniscient deity need to test anything?
