Well, it has been a good run, but I guess we were all wrong.
God is real, and has been denied a car loan. We even have a photo of Him now.
Via The Friendly Atheist:
God Gazarov, 26, is a native Russian who says he was named after his grandfather. The Brooklyn jewelry store owner has built up a decent credit score (in the 720 range), but that’s only if you believe Experian and TransUnion. The third credit reporting agency, Equifax, has put God through, well, hell, suspecting that he doesn’t exist.
Apparently, the unusual first name raised red flags over at Equifax.
Gazarov has now decided to sue, claiming he has lost several opportunities to secure a loan. He was turned down for car financing just last year, he says.
The vehicle in question was an Infiniti, natch. What else would God drive?
If he looses the lawsuit, can we say that god can't even win a lawsuit.
And will he call on Jesus to represent him :-)
