I just saw this episode! It was on TV and I loved the show when I was a kid, so I sat and watched a few minutes of it to bask in my own nostalgia. Anyways, I was also a bit bothered by the implication that those who do not believe in something, specifically God, are lost and unsatisfied. You hit it right on the nose. I was thinking, "I don't have belief, I have critical thinking. So take that!" But I'm sure that's how a lot of the religious view the nonreligious -- as little lost sheep. I am not bothered by people who are religious (as long as they aren't overly judgmental). But, then again, my worldview doesn't depend on everyone thinking the way I do. For those who are religious, if people without God can truly lead happy lives, that would unavoidably call into question their own beliefs.
