Fundraising Ideas for a Documentary?

Hey Guys,

My buddies and I have a great idea for a documentary......very controverssial, very

anti-religious. There is no way we could ever get venture capital from a mainstream "hollywood type" source. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on how a project like this could raise funds from within the atheist community?

You could try Kickstarter - its a website where you can get funds for stuff like this. People donate, but you have to give something back to the people who donate, based on how much they contribute. Like for $5 you could put their name in the closing credits, for $10 the above + maybe somehow make them a part of the documentary and so on, till say $100 all of the above + you post them a DVD of the documentary.
