In New Zealand Its illegal to run a store during the eater holidays... Meaning Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday. So as of the 11th there were 17 Stores open on Good Friday and they face prosecution with the maximum penalty for opening on a restricted day is a $1000 fine.

New Zealand has People from all over the world though though most of the population is English white they do have many others. As for the multiple People they have multiple beliefs and as an atheist i see it wrong to deny those people the right to run their shops on this weekend. The thing that is so fucked up about this is that the Tourist towns can stay open.

And apparently New Zealand is an incredibly secular country....
