Responding to a comment on someone else's blog - that we atheists can all go clusterhump ourselves - my new Hot4Jesus Post is dedicated to starting a Cluster-Hump Wednesday among atheist/agnostics/brights/deconverts:  1st Ever Cluster-Hump Wednesday For Those of Little or No Faith.  I would love to hear suggestions on how to safely facilitate fun future Cluster-Humps among us.  What would want to see from an atheist clusterhump?  At the very least, do you have a website, video, blog that would worth plugging on future Cluster-Hump Wednesdays?

At this point in my life I'm most interested in contributing to improving human life in some way. Reducing the influence of the more extreme, intolerant, literalist, traditionalist, fundamentalist, etc., expressions of religious belief will probably help that, but huge problems remain, of course. The internet provides unprecedented for humanists to find each other and organize for positive change.

I'm also interested in learning and experiencing, with both of these processes being central to my existence. I know, that's not incredibly specific, is it. :] I almost forgot...for a number of years now I've run the Velvet Pants Salon, an infrequent dinner in which I contact some interesting local person out of the blue--an academic, politician, whomever--and basically say that "I'm with a group of inquisitive and educated people who love good conversation and we'd like to meet you. Dinner's on us!" Most of the time, once they get past the unusualness of the idea, they happily agree.

So, for what it's worth! Others may have their own ideas.
