I'm not sure if I ever introduced myself before. I think I've been a member for about a year now. I choose to revert or convert, which ever is proper, to Atheism about five years ago. I have always been questioning about the relativity or lack thereof to God. You'll notice quickly I am no literature major. When I was small, 10, 11 or 12, I asked god to show me a sign, any sign. I never got it and that was the beginning of the end for me. Then when I joined the Military at 18 in 1979, I had Agnostic put on my Dog Tags because I didn't believe in structured or formal religion. Since that time I have had a near death experience (not sure but I think I saw the light or maybe it was someones flashlight in my eye) been married twice (still married to No. 2 for 28 years) raised three wonderful, warm, compassionate and caring children who all lean to Atheism but are not firm. I have relocated to South Carolina from Connecticut in 2007. Love the weather, don't like the Hippocrates to much though. So I'm an Atheist, Liberal leaning Yankee in a Bible Belt Red State. Yep we keep to ourselves pretty much.
