So I'm moving to Minnesota soon. A little spot in the upper corner. The local church is run by my husbands uncle and the small community is very Christian based. I'm not sure what to do or how I feel about our predicament. If we both find work there we'll be much better off, but by doing this our daughter is going to have to be put into the only local child care at the church. My husband thinks things will be fine, but I'm not so sure. I know from when I was a kid how easy it is to be scared into a belief. I don't want this to happen to my 3yr old. Advice?

That's rough, Natalie. I took one lower division psych class as an elective, so I'm hardly qualified to give advice on child development. However, one thing I took away from that class was that the ability to think in the abstract developed near adolescence. What this means is that kids don't do a whole lot of the kind of reasoning that you and I used when we decided something was a little iffy about King James favorite book. If the church daycare has incorporated Sunday school type lessons as part of the package, then they will be presented as, and accepted as concrete facts. Which brings me to the only reasonable piece of advice I can give you, sit in. While some churches may see exposing your child to the faith as a duty and privilege, others are simply offering a service to the community, and are run like any traditional daycare.
