A thought crossed my mind and that, of course is whether or not we as humans are ready for nuclear armaments.

I get that it provides for nuclear energy, but I just sometimes feel that the whole tensions and constant fear of a nuclear attack might say something about our maturity as a species.

What do you think? Sometimes I feel like it's granting light travel to cavemen.

Of course we are not ready. I doubt we will ever be. One of these days a nuke is going to be launched (gawd only knows why) and all hell is going to brake out all over the world. I hate being such a pessimist.

we are not ready, and as a species we are also not worthy of such knowledge.  sadly though, it is in man's nature to destroy himself and his environment.  it will all end in disaster, the question is just 'when?'
