That has the urge.

To post one of the many.

Not-so-kind verses.

Like 1 Timothy 2:12

That can be found in the Bible.

Whenever a Christian.

Posts something with a positive Christian message.

Like "If God Brought You To It. He Will Get You Through It."

Or any other verse of the Bible.

On their Facebook or Twitter?

Because I have.

But I never do.

Because I don't want to start any drama.

But does anyone else do this or at least have the urge to do this?

The urge tugs at my fingertips when I see people post all the pretty scripture in facebook...so your not alone

"The urge tugs at my fingertips"

I like that. It's kind of poetic.

And it's nice to know I'm not alone.

I get the urge all the time, I'm reminded of the story of Job. Genesis 19:4-8

Where he basically gives up his virgin daughters to a mob of rapists, in order to protect the angels.

Now he was supposed to be the "HOLIEST" man in the city.

Also, it bothers me when people try to use quotes from the bible, when I'm arguing that the bible was written by man in the first place, so taking a verse from the bible to prove it exists is just asinine.
You mean Lot, not Job.

I get that way every time my sister posts her chosen verses or when she posts insanity - "God loves us so much that he gives us life every morning when we wake" or my resent 'favorite' "God is so beautiful and he provides us with so much love that it gives us the wings to fly".... or something like that. Every time I read it I just face palm and wish I wasn't related.

Oh Yea! I even have and then it turned in to some huge drama for a while. Then again when I post something that is inspiring to me from Douglas Adams or Carl Sagan, people don't get it or write it off as me being a dork.

With all wonderful literature out that can be inspiring without the mention of god. All the delusional can do is parrot scripture, it gets old in a hurry.
absolutly
Douglas Adams ftw.

(O_O)!!! WOW. HAHA! That's Hilarious!

Malachi 2.3

Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces.

No, never. Why do you ask?

Or Exodus 33:23

And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Which always reminds me of Ace Ventura.
