After reading the article about the drug induced atrocity I echoed the idea of another's comment about the article and went looking for better news. To my surprise I found some amazing good news. It seems that there is at least one intelligent U.S. District Court Judge willing to defend the Constitution rather than bow to religious pressure.

U.S. District Court Judge Barbara B. Crabb ruled on Nov. 22, 2013 that a law granting tax exemption to homes and the upkeep/renovations is unconstitutional. The full article is here:
