Mormomons were racist and polygamists until about the 1970s I believe and they ignore and distort the passages of the Bible

I get the feeling one has to have their mind twisted in knots by the priests to be able to understand and swallow this goobledegook.

@amanda.  if you aren't a sam harris fan already, i highly suggest you checking him out---he wrote "the end of faith," "letter to a christian nation," and "the moral landscape"---he also started a non-profit org. with his wife called "project reason"---if you go to the link below you will find the scripture project which is a great tool!  people are running over the bible, the qur'an and the book of mormon with a fine tooth comb.  it sounds like something you might be interested in.
