Dr. Tarico is a psychologist and former fundamentalist Christian who now speaks to secular groups and progressive churches on moral development, the psychology of belief, and wisdom convergence. Her book Trusting Doubt shows how Evangelical teachings corrupt love and truth (the subtitle, in fact), and examines Evangelical beliefs and shows where they're opposed to objective reality as we've discovered it. She also contributed an essay on the psychology of belief to the John Loftus edited The Christian Delusion titled "Christian Belief Through The Lens of Cognitive Science".
