Comment by Mike Fundaro on March 25, 2012 at 9:50am We arrived a bit late but saw most of the speakers and Bad Religion. It was great fun even with the wet weather. We had our seven-year-old with us, had to cover his ears when Jamie Kilstein showed up...LOL... Got to see Eddie Izzard and Bad Religion on the same day, which was amazing. I hope there's another Reason Rally, and soon!
Comment by Shabaka Tecumseh on March 25, 2012 at 9:06am The Rally was interesting. I heard some speakers until the rain and chill played havoc with my RA and had to leave. However I left troubled because here, at the Reason Rally are the best and brightest of this culture. Reading the post on this site show the best rhetorical examples of European culture. Yet the Rally left me feeling like a fly in buttermilk. Yes physically, but more importantly spiritually. After hearing the speech about why atheist are mad, Trayvon Martin etc. keep crossing my mind, but obviously atheist are more angry about homophobia than murder of black kids. No mention what so ever that atheist could be mad about racism or white supremacy. I wondered if that is delegated to the Black Atheist of America as a "black" problem? Common Sense dictates that "Freethinkers" need to expand their thinking as to why this is a reality. Or not!
All in all I had a nice time, it reminded me of the 60's anti war protest with the church signs on the side lines telling us we are going to hell because their way of seeing the world is being the "best and only way."
Comment by James on March 25, 2012 at 12:40am The rally great. The weather wasn't really all that bad, and all the speakers/performers were awesome. I came down with a local freethinkers group. It was a really fun time, I just wish I would have bumped into the TA group as well.
Comment by M.B. on March 24, 2012 at 10:40pm It was amazing! Too bad I didn't get to find anyone else.

Rally was fabulous. They claimed more people were there than attended the Glenn Beck event, IN SPITE OF the rain. The Beck rally had good weather too. So Mr. Beck, eat it!
