I recommend chilling the bottle in the freezer and pouring over ice, then adding ice cold perrier - that really smooths it out if you don't have a strong taste for Scotch.

I bought a smallish bottle of Johnnie Walker Black after he died.. I could barely stomach a sip but now that I have the bottle, I will break it out again on April 13th.

I'm cancelling all other plans as we speak. Hitchens is probably one of the biggest reasons I'm here to be truthful. I'll be on my own but who cares when you have YouTube to keep you company. Might even get round to watching all the Hitchslaps in order, right to the end or just the whole Stephen Fry and CH IQ2 debate against the Catholic Church. What a legend.

Damn.  I've never heard, seen or read anything he's done, but so many people I respect think the world of him, that I think I should spend an evening with CH and JOHNNIE WALKER BLACK on April 13th.

It takes very little prodding to get me to lift a glass of JWB. On 4/13 I'll probably damn near polish off the whole 5th.

Then, I'll be waiting for 12/15 when I celebrate Hitchmas.
