Celebrating and remembering the life of Christopher Hitchens on the date of his birth, April 13th. Let's lift a glass of Johnnie Walker Black, with a splash of Perrier, to the Bard of Atheism. If you smoke, a standard cigarette will do but a fine Cuban Cigar would be a tribute.

This past Hitchday was a bit of a somber one for me - just found myself doing a lot of personal reflection. In any case, I've registered Hitchday on TA again for next year for those interested - http://www.thinkatheist.com/events/christopher-hitchens-day-3
I am looking forward to my champions breakfast!!
Thanks, Dan - it's almost time.
I could listen to Hitch all day - his voice is just so soothing. Had he not been such a great journalist and writer, he could have easily made it as an FM dj.
Hey Ryan,
I was in the process of reading Hitch 22, then I found the man reading his entire memoir. I'm trying to do more reading, but it does seem better to hear a person read their own memoir.
Viva the Information Age!
Hitchens is my man. Andy, I did the exact same thing. i couldn't wait for friends to lave so i could watch it and absorb every word. i had a few friends who i would play it for and they would either talk the whole time and try and get into a conversation, but failed miserably or the kind of friend who sits and is blown away just like ourselves. an awesome girlfriend of mine was my boo. we would hang out and watch stuff like him or ted talks and just be captivated
I just found this: Christopher Hitchens reading his entire memoir, Hitch 22.

I'm new to this site. Johnnie Walker Black on 4/13 to honor Christopher is awesome in all the right ways. I don't know how many hours of Hitchens is on Youtube, but I think I'm bound to find out because I can't stop finding new stuff to watch. I'm on page 82 of Hitch 22 and am really enjoying the read.
I'm new to this site, and I'm excited about sharing thoughts with like minded individuals.
