Fargo, ND is location of a major one-day freethought convention. The speaker line-up is as follows:

Brian Keith Dalton, "Mr. Deity"
PZ Myers, the writer of Pharyngula himself
Dan Barker, co-president of the Freedom of Religion Foundation
Annie Laurie Gaylor, co-president of the Freedom of Religion Foundation
August Berkshire, local atheist heavyweight who was the first president of the Twin Cities Chapter of American Atheists (which became Minnesota Atheists in 1991)

The event is being sponsored by The River River Freethinkers, a 501(3)(c) non-profit corporation, and is being held at the Fargo Civic Center.

This part of the country is finally getting a real freethought convention, one that it truly deserves.
